YES Mentors serve in 3 key roles for scholar development — college counseling support, life coaching and career coaching. Provided support by the YES volunteer network, YES Mentors guide scholars through our core program via weekly, typically virtual meetings. The Scholar Goal Planner gives an overview of goals and action items across school, sports and human skill development .

Mentor's oversee scholars development through the Human Skill Matrix, along with other products like the Visual Resume and WHOOP. Mentors also help place scholars with career coach volunteers who assist in specific interests that extend outside of the mentor's experience or expertise.
