The visual resume guides a student to take their resume or highlights from it, and create an audio or visual representation of their experience. The process teaches scholars how to use media for professional purposes, and empowers them with the tools to tell narratives in effective manners. This essay was directed, scripted, and narrated by Ethan Mukwaya — a ‪Boston University Communications Major, class of 2026 (center in the photo).

YES is pioneering this process as a way to innovate resume workshopping, provide scholars opportunities to build human skills, and gives our organization with genuine ways to include scholar voices in marketing of our program.
